RE: The DVD's: A&E

High Cotton
Hey All-
I was at the National Librarian's Association Conference today (No, I am not a librarian, I was doing a book signing) and wandering around the exhibits area I stumbled onto an A&E booth. There, right before my greedy hands was UFO set 1! Unfortunately the clueless booth girl wouldn't sell it to me on the spot, but I did get to see what I assume is the final packaging and it is different. It seems to be a translucent plastic library case instead of the usual A&E cardboard box containing two keepcases.
Also saw the Captain Scarlet set (same package type) and DangerMan DVD's there, didn't know they were coming out with that one!

Wow! So do you think the DVDs themselves are finished, or do you
think it was just some sort of mockup of the packaging (without the
final DVDs in them)?

Well, of course I think everyone is interested in what may
or may not be on the A&E UFO DVDs! I know a little
about some more stuff to be included, but Scott said to keep
things quiet for now, so I have done that. However, if
there's something that Scott will allow to be posted in
public about these discs, then we want to hear about it!

Marc:

IMO, these would have to be near done. A&E plans to ship its customers these
DVDs in about two weeks -- so I don't think they have much time left to
monkey around with the layout, etc.

The boxes and discs are more than likely already made and are being packed
for shipment to distributers.

All my opinion -- no "inside" info here.
