RUTLAND "A QUESTION OF PRIORITIES"

Brian Serridge
I love Mary Rutland/Straker. However, I think she was partly responsible for the death of John. If she had let Ed stay a little longer for John to show him the model boat then he would probably still be alive. As to whether she loves her 'new' husband, well, I think she's still in love with Ed. How could she not be? I'm not sure if Rutland is the same bloke as the ship's captain in "Destruction", but some of you will have noticed that his second-in-command is the same man that played the Tracker Station commander in "The Psychobombs." It reminds me of the actor Robert Culp who played the murderer in numerous episodes of "Columbo", but Peter Falk never spotted it. Not a very good detective. More of a Dick!!

Peter Falk always got the guilty party.. didn't he? :)

Cant really blame her, she never knew what would happen.
