Random Thoughts: SubSmash

SubSmash: What a cool name for an SOP.

I like episodes where Straker can display both his toughness and human side.

This was a great role for Nina. Being stuck in that tube reminded me of when
they tried to give me a closed MRI last year. I lasted about three minutes.
Also, I visited the submarine on display here in Pittsburgh
(http://www.thelynx.com/aeroscan/requin/) and they are quite cramped. I can
understand Straker's obvious apprehension.

They kinda left what got into Chin's brain up in the air. I'm guessing it
was some kind of UFO signal that he was subjected to through his headphones.

I like how the SHADO operatives can multi-role. It would be a great job to
work for them cuz you could move around and not be stuck in a rut.

They still didn't locate the missing UFO.

SubSmash proves that there is no self-leveling mechanism in the crew
compartment.

I just love that sassy filler music.

The modeling was very cool in this episode and I really liked the rescue
plane.

End Transmission.

"Imagine a dying planet in some distant corner of the universe. Its natural resources exhausted. Its inhabitants sterile. Doomed to extinction. A situation we may one day find ourselves in, gentlemen. So they discover earth. Abundant, fertile. Able to satisfy their needs. They look upon us not with animosity, but callousness. As we look upon our animals that we depend on for food. Yes, it appears they are driven by circumstance across a billion miles of space, driven on by the greatest force in the universe - survival."
