"Aaaahh!! The RED Ed Straker's Car. Some picture on the book ??" ---Angelo
Finamore The book had lots of pictures but I don't recall any from the Gerry Anderson shows. Barbie, Star Wars, Trek and the really old stuff from the 1930's to the 50's made up the bulk of the illustrations. Why the scream? Did you have a red Straker car and gave or tossed it away? I'm still hoping my Dinky Eagles turn up in my parents attic someday. I'll have to go there and look when the hordes of wasps that live up there are asleep for the winter... Thanks for the reply. My own horror story about UFO merchandise whas when I saw the SPORTING BLOOD paperback at the bookstore. I hid it in the back of the shelf but when I went back the next week (when 'd gotten my allowance) it was gone. I've been looking for UFO paperbacks ever since. |

I had a great collection of origional sci-fi paperbacks, with great cover artwork and stuff. Bugs the hell out of you to see them on E-bay now going for real cash.... I've been looking for UFO paperbacks ever since. www.ebay.com is a nice place to get 'em... But the price can get high! I found mine (and then others for other people on this list) at www.usedbookfind.com but they don't seem to have any at the moment... :-( Ah! There are some at http://shop.barnesandnoble.com ! And some seem more or less affordable, but others! 8-0 Just enter robert miall in the author field and it'll come up with Sporting Blood and Flesh Hunters! --Anny |

Yeah Dave I know what you mean. . .
My mother "gave away" my UFO lunchpail and thermos when I was still a kid. (She just figured I outgrew it!) Anyway, I got another set, but had to pay about $70.00 to get a mint one.
