Just to let everyone know - the 5.1 sound track re-mix
was never offered to A&E although it was made prior to
the UK release. Why? That's a mystery. Although I
was a consultant I was never told about it. As I
stated in my review on www.thedigitalcinema.net I had
come across it when searching for bonus materials for
a Bonus Disc that never came into being (for UFO, as
was made for SPACE:1999) We also had the titless
ending sequence from THE SQUARE TRIANGLE which I had
wanted but it was vote out by one higher than me.
That same person also was responsible for opting not
to use all those great still offered to us by you
Marc. Sorry guys, but I don't have complete control
over the A&E releases - seems there are those who
think they are are the experts simply becasue the fill
a seat in a company. Oh, we had the option for the
Fanderson Documentary but turned it down do its price,
outdated look and less than slick editing and
presentation. We were really turned off by the fan
interviews which don't help in generating a positive
view of the product - talk about geeks! We were a
"fan-less" version, but that shorter version was the
same over the top price as the other so we just called
it a day.
Perhaps the most interesting tid-bit is that Carlton
couldn't seem to find any episode promos! That one is
really a mystery!
