Thanks for the explanation.
I was misled by your answer mentioning Gary Myers when my question to the
list was basically "does anyone know Stuart Myers and in which episode he
played the Alien?".
As far as aliens are concerned, you should not forget also Richard Aylen (A
Question Of Priorities) and Anthony Chinn (The Square Triangle).....
So let me ask again: Does anyone in the list know who Stuart Myers is and
in which episode he played the Alien?

PS: Jess, that's EXACTLY the same thing I thought when I first was told that
Ed Bishop had played the Alien in one episode... ;-)

By doing a Google search, I see that Stuart Myers played an "Axon Glob" in
the Dr. Who episode "The Claws of Axos" (3/1971). Also a Cricketeer in the
Dr. Who episode "Black Orchid" (3/1982). Also, he autographed a Dr. Who
card as a Cyberman:

Given that we seem to know most of the people who played the Aliens in UFO,
we need to look at the episodes where we DON'T know who played the Aliens.
For example, look at this behind-the-scenes photo from THE LONG SLEEP:

Who are these two people? "The Complete Book of UFO" says that Gito
Santana played an Alien in THE LONG SLEEP, and yet neither of these people
are Gito Santana....

Also, I seem to recall that Christian did some screen captures of the
Alien firing its rifle in COMPUTER AFFAIR, and if you turned up the
brightness on your monitor, you could make out the face of the person
inside the Alien costume. And that face did indeed look like Stuart
Myers. It did NOT look like the Alien who later was seen in the
SHADO medical center.

So perhaps this Stuart Myers played an Alien in several UFO
episodes...

That photo does not seem to show enough of the aliens' faces for a
100% firm identification.

I have "The complete book of Gerry Anderson's UFO". Under each
episode it lists "uncredited cast". Under The Long Sleep
under "uncredited cast" it says "Alien: Gito Santana". Note the
singular, although there were 2 aliens in that episode. How reliable
is that book for that sort of information?

Neither of those 2 people in that behind-the-scenes photos appear to be
Gito Santana, so my guess is that Gito Santana was *not* in THE LONG SLEEP.

Also, here is that frame capture that Christian sent me from COMPUTER
AFFAIR, which I have brightened up so you can see the person's face inside
the Alien costume:

Again, this looks like Stuart Myers to me. Yet, if I look at "The Complete
Book of UFO", it lists the Aliens being played by Hugo Panczak, Shane
Rimmer, and Gito Santana.

I checked the IMDB and could not find any actor listed under the name Stuart
Myers. So I suspect that if he was indeed a alien in UFO he never got any
further in his acting career that being a uncredited extra.
