Rather typical of such a production. Film productions tend to want creators out of their hair as they have almost complete control over
property and control the licensing and other rights based on their production. For the longest time DC wasn't allowed to use any of the
imagery created for BATMAN, though they did finally got to use the all-black body suit without the trunks on the outside.

So, the less "interference" from Gerry, the more "original" content they can create and control. Thus your only hope is that the film maker
in control is a fan of the original material and will remain true to it. Which THUNDERBIRDS does not have in Jonathan Frakes. Mike Trim, one
of the original designers for Tbirds, UFO, etc. (and who is also doing some new design work for our UFO comic, WHOO HOO!) is working on the
film (in what exact capacity I don't know), and so the tech will have some Tbirds authenticity to it.

Sadly, this film will not be Thunderbirds. What we were hoping for
was a genuine live action version of the series we all know and
love. And we ain't gonna get it :(
