RE receiving ITV 4 before Monday...

Thank you so much for that information (I'm usually scared of fiddling with the Sky incase I muck it up) I am now watching The Saint, thanks to this!

Cheers
Jess

Re: ITV 4, Other Channels, Red Dots

"What other channels can be found using this method ?"

As I mentioned I was only passing on information. I'm afraid I'm no expert
on this subject.
However, using the same method and settings there are other options which
come up:

ITV2 - I'm not sure how this differs from the one we already have (maybe it
has programmes anyone would actually want to watch.)

Then four different ITV regions: London, Granada, Anglia E and Central W.
I'm in the London region; maybe other options appear in other parts of the
country.
I suspect that the differences between the ITV regions are now so marginal
that unless you are a connoisseur of regional news programmes there isn't
much extra on offer.

John

P.S. I assume that most people know they can now set the annoying red dots
to disappear automatically after a few seconds?
You will have had to update recently via the phone line. Then go to Services
/ System Setup / Picture Settings / Highlight "On-Screen Icon Timeout" and
use the left/right arrows to switch from OFF (the default) to ON. The red
dots etc will then only linger for about 30 secs.
