I think that the Moonmobiles use conventional technology, that is,
they have vertical hoverring thrusters underside of their body.
If you watch, for examble, the episode 'Survival', the Moonmobiles
raise a cloud of dust on the lunar surface.
BTW it is the Moonbus from "2001" that seems to be using anti-
gravity...
