Re: Nick Tate as Alec Freeman?

Although I can see Paul Hogan as Alec Freeman, how
about Nick Tate as Alec Freeman?

When I first saw Paul Hogan, he reminded me a little
bit of Nick Tate. We know that Nick Tate can do
sci-fi, he was Alan Carter in Space: 1999, wasn't he?
He was also in the Anderson pilot The Day After
Tomorrow (Into Infinity) as well as the movie
'Submarine X1' alongside Lieutenant Ford himself,
Keith Alexander! I think Tate has the credentials to
play Freeman!

Anybody heard of the American actor Jeremy Davies?
He'd be perfect as Ford although he is fairly
well-known for what would essentially be quite a small
part in a UFO movie.

I knew I'd heard of Nick Tate before but I must confess Jeremy Davies is not
known to me. It seems for the most part we have discussed male actors to
take on the male roles, but I haven't seen alot of discussion on actresses
to do Virginia Lake, Gay Ellis, etc. I don't have anyone special in mind,
but I think Halle Berry would be fab as Nina Barry! Of course, unless the
role was a big one, I don't think you'd get someone her calibre to play in a
UFO flick. I'm just scared that the producers will choose one of those dorky
actresses from TV dumb shows like Friends or Will & Grace et al. I have a
VERY low tolerance for these so-called actresses and don't see them as
having much talent. Pam

My wife thought Val Kilmer would make a good Alec
Freeman.
