Unless Straker later remarried, or unless we exclude the events in "The Responsibility Seat" from the time line. But I got the impression that he was "married to his job". If Straker had another son who got old enough to run SHADO at the time of the UFO 2 events, who was that son's mother and when? |

I wonder where the idea originates that a marriage license is needed to have a son (or a daughter, for that matter)... I can't see Straker in a relationship since his job is too important, also of course if he starts a relationship it will mean lying to his partner, not exactly a good thing for a relationship, look at what it did to him and Mary... I can't see Straker having sex for the sake of it, but I cannot X-Y-GMX: $flush really see him as a monk either.... Another email sent at the same time cut off part of the jpeg I was sending along with it... As is said, one should not look a gift horse in the mouth. (gmx is free and international (not only for Germans), and incidentally, it's both web-based and POP3 based) I'll be moving house soon (to Antwerp) so I won't have time to post much. Or read mail. I won't be offline (I hope) for long at any time, maybe 2 days or so occasionally, so I doubt I'll have problems with emails bouncing, I haven't so far (my computer is in Roeselare while I'm in Antwerp most of the time nowadays). And my email address won't change, since that's a German one (Hi Sindy, nice to have you on the list! Where in Germany do you live?) BTW, the move is because of the new man in my life. He's interested in UFOs and space and all that, I wonder what he'll think of UFO (the series)? He does remember Space 1999, wasn't too sure about UFO (I described the MoonBase girls' outfits, maybe I should have described Gay Ellis' legs instead? :-). Any suggestions as to tactics to make him as nuts (about UFO) as we all are? One ep a day, one a week, an overdose (all 26 eps more or less one after the other)?
