Re: Re: [SHADO] Absolutely not a hoax

This site simply reports what is on the 'Fanderson' site. (Some details of which are at best unverified, at worst incorrect).
But - once again - it has to be said, unfortunately, the news about both Mike and Ed is not a 'hoax' - if only it were !
Mike passed away last Friday, 3rd June, rather than Monday the 6th, as stated on the Fanderson site. The intended date of his funeral is coming Monday, the 13th.
He had been ill with cancer for some time, but had kept that information confidential. Despite receiving treatment for it, the disease spread through his body in the last couple of months. I understand that he passed away peacefully, in his sleep.
Mike's family's have communicated their wish that the funeral be a family event. Rather than send cards or flowers, his friends (and fans) are asked to make a donation to either Macmillan Fund or Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Best wishes and regards to all at this difficult time,
Andy

Isn't there an error in Ed's date of death too? In the earlier post
concerning Helen Weber's contact with Ed's wife, Jane, she reports
that Ed died on Tuesday 7th not the 8th June.

Unless there was a typing eror somewhere, I would be inclined to take
that date as more reliable given it's origin.

I believe the origin (Ed's wife Jane) was the same for the Fanderson
story as well.

I suppose it could have happened late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning...
