Yes! The most popular British all-female-vocal group of all
time, until the Spice Girls .. but I wouldn't call them 'new
wave' exactly .. If I remember correctly their first single was
'It ain't what you do it's the way that you do it' which was a
collaboration with the Funboy Three, Terry Hall's post Specials
band. Must have been about 1982 I think.
