HA! There was a discovery channel special or program that included the
Sealaunch program, I kept looking for Marc but apparently they didn't film
him! ; -)
Everytime I read about it I keep waiting for something to go wrong and
Thunderbird 2 and 4 to show up and straighten everything out! In some ways
it really is...Century 21! Next time the Sealaunch ship leaves the dock
there ought to be some Barry Gray music playing in the background!

I think Nick forgot one item in this script book discussion, owning the
actual scriptbook, even if its available in text form on Marc's site is
desirable from a Fanderson member and collectors point of view. The books
are nicely produced and make great autograph items if one is lucky enough to
get to a UK convention. Also they have wonderful pictures and commentary.
For research and nit picking the scripts on Marc's site are very useful, for
the experience of sitting down with a well produced book and relaxing, the
Fanderson books are preferable, even if there is a duplication. And the
fact that they go out of print make them an even more desirable collectable.
I love to sit and read while holding a book, even if its in softcover
magazine format. With printouts its never the same, the ink smudges your
hand, I can never get the printer to do it right etc etc.
I've only been able to obtain Fanderson items and become a Fanderson member
recently but once I had the money (And it took several years before I could
justify spending those amounts on my hobby) I was astounded at the quality
and detail of just about everything Fanderson has released. Over and over
as I held the CD's, scriptbooks and FAB magazines in my hands I would say to
myself, "THIS is a fan produced item?????"
So in my opinion, overzealous, as usual! is I think a new UFO scriptbook is
a double collectable. First because it contains the script for the show,
and second because Fanderson produced it.

I'm going to Main Mission 2000 September 1 - 3!
