Re: UFO - Gary Myers?

Dear T.A. White - I couldn't agree with you more on Mr. Bishop being the
original "Mr Cool"! I don't think he's gotten the recognition he serves at
all. I'm also a big fan of Mike Billington - loved him in UFO, the Onedin
Line, and recently saw his 1984 movie "KGB: The Secret War." He's played a
ton of Russians over the course of his career, oddly enough, including Tsar
Nicholas II in a great BBC mini-series on the life of King Edward VII. He
looked so much like the doomed Tsar it was phenomenal. In fact, Mr.
Billington told me toured a few Russian cities in 1967 with a British
Shakespearean troupe!

Peter Gordeno, Gary Myers and George Sewell were also great in UFO! I heard
awhile back that Gary Myers was in poor health - Marc - or anyone - has
anyone got an update on his status? I very much liked him as Capt Lew
Waterman,and felt he was superb in the Court Martial episode in which he is
called by the prosecution to testify against Col. Foster - it's very evident
he doesn't like to do this at all and in fact considers Foster a friend and
great collegue.

Yup - vastly overrated 1950's actor who did only 3 movies before killing
himself in a wrecked Spyder at the age of 24 - back then's answer to that
