Not true. The reason it is not as easy to find is that it is difficult
to manufacture by garage kit makers. Resin is easy to pour, but the UFO
is little more than a central core with vanes running out to the
"plectrums, covered by lexan. Thermal forming lexan is difficult without
professional equipment. The kits available in the past have all been
vacuum formed clear plastic, which is flimsy and difficult to trim and assemble.
The other UFO vehicles are more easily created using traditional
techniques and materials.
