High Cotton
I think that Charles *MAY* have been slightly less than serious about this

Just because a character like Wesley Crusher gets loads of fan mail
doen't mean that having that character in a series is a good idea for the
series only that many fans would like to have him as their "Boy Toy" if you
get my drift.
As Capt. Amelia<g>wisely said why go for raw hamburger when you can
have Prime Rib. However I will conceed the point that it might be need to
have younger character in the show. However it would be best to keep it in
the bounds of what might really happen. Say having new SHADO recruits for
the new younger characters this would put them in the 18 to early 20's
range.
Young enough without being too young. Also I don't see where having
character who are related to other characters is a good idea. That is
getting away from Sci-Fi and into family drama.
But its Charles idea and he is the one doing the artwork, which is
very good by the way Charles, so it is really up to him where he wants to
go
with it. Looking foreward to seeing how you animate the characters and how
you render them.

OT: Lesley, did you by any chance see you-know-who anywhere
around? Or any wardrobe itms she had worn??

Apparently, he had a pretty big gay (male) following.

Perhaps he should show up in episode one and say "I'm going
upstairs to play me tapes". Then h comes down in the last
episode a good few years older and looking completely and totally
different :-)

(Sorry - you have to know Coronation Street)

<You have to know Coranation Street>

Dave, while I've never seen that British soap opera, there was a similar sort
of thing that happened on a American one where a character goes up to the
attic to polish his skis and is never seen again, except for years later when
two other characters go up to the attic and there holding a pair of skis is a
skeleton.(I'm not kidding about this).

Not a comedy but rather a in joke. See the guy had gone up stairs years ago
and never came down so the writers just put it in as a in joke for the cast
and crew and fans to really keep track of that sort of stuff.
