Hi, Anthony.

The comic would be drawn traditionally, but with one exception (and to be
honest, I don't think I'll be drawing a UFO book if it comes to pass). For
the Supercar comic, I'm using CGI models of Supercar created by Austin Tate
and friends for reference. I'm posing the model then incorporating it into
the rest of the art. It'll keep me out of trouble with the details ("Hey!
Supercar has nine side fins, not eight!").

I imagine the artist working on a UFO book would enjoy having access to the
CGI reference material as well.

Something else to consider is likenesses. Characters may be in tact, but
getting permission from the actors and possible remuneration for use of
their likenesses may be prohibitive. It may be necessary to design
characters that look similar, but not exact.

Thanks, S. We certainly hope the comic does well enough to warrant an
ongoing series. We have plans to follow up Supercar with a possible
Fireball XL5 mini-series (and would love to do a wacky crossover with
Supercar, and don't get me started on our Thunderbirds/Supercar story line).

Great, because I've just learned that the comic book rights are available,
so now I'm investigating further and doing preliminary work towards a
formal proposal. You folks will be the first to know about further
developments.
