Hey dudes and dudettes! The courier person just dropped by my office about
40 mins ago with my Sky 1 model! I ordered the little one (can't afford the
big 17 inch version - wah!) but it looks not too bad. I agree, it needs to
be painted first before putting it together. The destructions are all in
Japanese, but they provide little schematics with it, so I think we can
figure it out. Y'know, it's almost the right scale for my DS9
model........nah!

I just checked with my hubby-model builder regarding painting models - he
says he paints some before he puts models together and waits till after
they're built to paint other parts - depends on the model, I guess. I do
recall having to paint certain parts when we were putting together one of my
Titanic models - we were doing a diorama, making an iceberg out of plaster,
etc......

Uhm you arent gong to enjoy that model much if you paint it and THEN assemble
it. Tends to fall apart, you know. Build, then paint. Like in real life.
