Well, speaking as a former traitor mouse, I have to agree with Amelia on
this one! If there is a UFO movie, there damn well better be an Ed Straker
in it somewhere and it BETTER be played by Ed Bishop! Would I watch a Trek
movie without Shatner as Kirk? I think NOT! I say "here, here" to all
Amelia's comments in spades!! BTW, I don't have a prob with EB playing late
50's early 60's - in some of my UFO fan fic I have him in his 60's in the
years 2000, 2001, 2002 and I can see EB in my mind's eye as Straker quite
well. He's still a fine figure of a man and his acting skills have probably
only gotten better with time. And that VOICE! Pure authority not matter what
his chronological age.
PS - anybody seen the new POTA movie? There's a nice little cameo with
Charlton Heston....
