Re UFO remake

They did that one. they called it DS9 and it wasn't long before they had to
put a starship in the show. "The Defiant". it was still a good show though.
But UFO without a secret base? Even Stargate has a secret base and I
personally thought the film studio concept was brilliant. After all what was
the biggest theme of the show? Security. It's what made Straker, Straker.
Security. And it's what put the human interest into the show. How do you
live a "normal" life when you can't tell your family what you do or even
that you do something secret. It's the basis for a heap of stories like
Confetti Check A.Ok., The responsibility seat, Court Martial.etc.
