The recent discussion of UFO2 and CGI has got me wondering....is there a
"CGI for Dummies" type of guide out there (online or otherwise) for those of
us who'd like to delve into that area. Can you recommend any software
(simple and cheap) to start out with? Does CGI involve modified CAD
programs? Also someone once mentioned Bryce, what is that?

Bryce is a very good program that makes 3D graphics images. But it
treats every object as rigid. To articulate models of people etc, you
need Poser. You will find all the information and tutorials etc that
you want via the forums in http://www.renderosity.com .
