Hi James - I apologize - I guess I was writing so fast I didn't make myself
clear on the topic of "other aliens." For a movie or miniseries version of
UFO2, I say stick with ONE type of alien - the one we know and "love" ha ha
- given to us as "canon" by the original series.
However, should UFO2 lead to a spin off series, it might be interesting to
work some other alien species in at some point. Not necessarily a full time
threat or whatever - just another species that's either friendly with our
aliens, and all too willing to help take advantage of our being
technologically challenged, or wishing to assist us in our battle (or maybe
even playing both sides of the war - selling technology to us and the aliens
in order to clean up!). The possibilities are endless - I just like to throw
out ideas and see if anyone can tweak them or rebut them.
