This whole internet thing has me floored! But, for what it's worth, here I am . . . I'm a grad student at Arkansas State, majoring in Theatre. I found you guys via the SciFi Channel DOMINION BBoard and the UFO HOME PAGE. I never even heard of this show till the SciFi Channel started airing it about a year ago; and I freely admit that I originally tuned in mainly to find out who that angelic vision was they flashed so quickly across the screen in the commercial. And, might I add that Ed Bishop is well worth the price of admission . . .:) Okay, so obviously my favourite episodes are the Straker episodes -- I haven't seen them all yet, but "Timelash" is my absoulte fav thus far -- that one blew my mind! And I hear it caused quite a controversy when it first aired because of the element of drug use . . . geez/ times they are a changin' . . . Anyway, might I add something to this "liquid breathing" discussion? I don't think it was necessarily meant to make the aliens more alien. I mean, when it is mentioned that the alien was breathing liquid, someone -- I think it was Alec -- said that we were experimenting with similar ideas for Moon Base; which indicates to me that perhaps this just points out how similar we really are . . . And a note to Kyle: Tacky, tacky, tacky -- I about _screamed_ when I read the subject line "Ed Straker's response to the OJ verdict", but I'll admit, that was a cute little story ... :) Oh, and has anyone ever come up with a reason for the purple hair??
