James--I guess at least one of the editors of the Chris Drake volume
WAS a gentleman after all; there are no birthdates provided for either Gay Ellis or Nina Barry! And to Anthony, if you see this--I'm well aware of the charming Boston in England (or "Englandshire" as one of my Scottish friends likes to call it--don't you think that's funny?!?!), which is why I always sign my posts "Steve, Boston, MASS." (The word "Mass." is an abbreviation for "Massachusetts," one of the quaint indigenous words adopted by we colonials to refer to our trifling provincial arrangements). But remember--Ed Straker was supposed to have been born in Boston, Mass.! Another interesting fact I learned from the Drake volume. (Where on Earth did he get this stuff? Was it in the UFO series Bible? Has anyone ever seen a document like that?) Best wishes, Steve Boston, Mass. (USA) |
Hi, Pam, I'm ABOUT to turn 43--in late July; I'm a Leo, but am
Capricorn rising and have lots of Aquarius in my chart, so I am somewhat lacking in the typical Leo limelight energy. Thanks to the fan who printed Mr. Billington's birthdate. That is very cool to know. So he will turn 60 this year at Yuletide. Those of us who are his fans should take up a subscription to send him something special--a present that says "you're not getting older, you're getting better!" Well, it's a thought. Steve |

(And I've never seen this book). Off-hand, though, I really can't recall an ep in which this is revealed - unless Foster mentions it in Exposed? Seems he mentioned Straker haveing graduated from MIT, but you don't have to be FROM Boston to go to MIT ..... There WAS some kind of writer's bible, surely ... As I recall, the original bible-like thing had Freeman being Australian ... -- Y -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Yuchtar zantai-Klaan | [hidden email] I am not a number! Hi Steve,
Glad to help with the birthdate. Thanks for the reply about Ellis' birthdate or lack of in the book. Like you said still a few gentlemen in the publishing field. All best wishes, James Killian |
