No, that can't be true, because the Japanese laserdisc
of the episode looks great. Bright whites, colorful,
no luminance shortfall, and no reddish cast.

So that means that THE LONG SLEEP wasn't remastered
in the UK, but it was in Japan.

Great site.

I have a request.

Is there a way you could translate the page about the "alien helmet
secrets" to english for me? Your English is a lot better than my
Italian. I read the page and all I could really understand were the
captions and the last paragraph or two about how the faceplate was
widened in later episodes.

BTW I noticed the diference in overall alien suit design somewhere
between "Survival" and "Ordeal". The neck piece changes from red to
black. The "bikini trim" on the suit changes from "chain mail" to
solid silver, and the faceplate is of course widened. There's a
noticable difference between the helmet that Gito Santana is posing
with, and the one that he wore in "Survival".
