Rediscovering UFO

Oxartes
Hi!

I'm 50 & moved to Israel from the US 27 years ago. I remember watching UFO back in the US as a kid. By sheerest chance, I rediscovered the series last week after having forgotten all about it. I am going through the spisodes (thank God for YouTube; I just watched "A Question of Priorities."). It is absolutely wonderful. My wife says I'm going through my second childhood & I correct her that I've never outgrown my first.

I seem to remember having a space interceptor toy that shot a plastic missile. Am I confused or was there merchandising with the series?

L'chaim!

Welcome to the group!  There are also plenty of other ways to watch UFO
these days -- DVD, Hulu, Amazon instant video, Blu-ray in Japan, etc.

There was such a toy, from Dinky.  You can find them selling for a lot
of money on eBay, I'm sure.  :-)

Hi Marc!

Yes, that's it; thanks.

I just watched "Ordeal." What a pity it was all a dream & that Col. Foster wasn't really abducted.

I wish they could have played up the alien defector part of "A Question of Priorities." Lots of possibilities there!

L'chaim!

I just watched ESP. Excellent, especially Croxley channelling the Aliens & babbling about cheese and pickle sandwiches just before Foster shoots him. His character was a combination of creepy-cool and sad (you really felt for him, the poor guy).
