The idea was agood one,just badly realised.The scene with the cassette recorder and Alien dopplegangers was quite frankly awful.
They should have dropped this scene completely,gone with the idea that the dome was something to do with negating radar,by disrupting weather.
The dopplegangers would have been a side effect of psychic
fields created by the power source in and around the dome.
This concept could have been explored the sort of concepts seen in Mindbender.As for the battle at the end...ok but why did,nt they get Derek to do another Ten Lives sequence...they got a bit cheap with this one.And I agree with everyone else..SKY 1 destroy second wave of UFO'S.It's great how earnestly he sets about his task,surely the script editor/director should have realised how stupid this looked and sounded.Mind you,it's a really funny scene.
Can't wait to see Kevin's addition to his set of excellent of cartoon's on this one.
Most definitely the worst episode.Unfortunate really because it could have been much better with a more imaginative approach.
