Revivals

Just out curiosty in addition to the 1996 revival attempt did the
producers ever think of making a mini-serries for show on the Sci-Fi
channel? It seems to have worked with some other serries.

I don't recall if they targeted the Sci-Fi channel specifically,
but I also don't think that back in 1996 that the Sci-Fi channel
was doing as much original programming as they are today.

These days, the last we heard about revivals was a Carlton series
put out by the same people who did the Outer Limits and Twilight
Zone revivals. Although I haven't heard any news on this for
over a year...

That would be great. I'd like to see the people responsible for the new
Battlestar Galactica do it. Or at least do a bang up job on it.

I think about a month ago someone was saying they wished UFO would be revived and updated for 2005. Someone else wrote back and said it had been done. Men in Black. SHADO ,secret organisation devoted to protecting mankind from Alien invasion. MIB, secret organisation devoted to protecting mankind from alien invasion and protecting the aliens that are already here. There are alot of similarities.
