Why purchase an inaccurate replica made of metal. Its easy to produce an exact copy of the real badges used by the actors using thin card or plasticard. Simply use the SHADO logo from the Shado website print it,cut it out and then pritt stik it to the card. Then use double sided tape to attach it.You can make dozens of these for a tenth the price of a metal badge. Not only that they are exactly as used on the show and it does,nt matter if they come off (as they did quite easily from the actors)as you've got plenty more. I think it would be a somewhat retrograde step to go back to this method when there is now a high quality version of the badge available. I'm sure the original prop badges in the series were plastic or cardboard or whatever for no other reason than they were cheap and easy for Century 21 to make, not because a top secret organisation specified their construction in that way! So thanks, but I prefer the metal badges that Fanderson are selling to members, which I repeat are high quality accurate copies, and no doubt will last longer than the 'originals' were ever designed to. You know...I should imagine Fanderson sometimes wonder why they bother....! Simon |
