We've gotten quite a few new members here lately, who may not
realize that I've made a list of posting rules for SHADO, which
are on the following web page:

when people reply to messages. Instead of simply hitting
"reply" and including the entire previous message, you should
please take the time to edit down the original message to as
few as lines as possible... just enough for us to know what
you are replying to, but no more!
There are quite a few people on this list who don't follow
this rule, even after repeated reminding on the list and
via private e-mails. As a result, they are put into
"moderated" mode, which means that I have to manually go
into their posts and edit down the original messages myself!
This worked out "okay" when there were only a couple
people who ignored the rules, but now I see the number of
people in moderated mode is increasing, which means I may
have to go to more drastic measures, like banning them
from posting altogether! After all, like Straker, I don't
make rules just to have them ignored!
