In the series, there are 3 featured SHADO doctors; Jackson, Shroeder
and Moss. Now they cropped up in episodes usually depending on the
availability of actors (Maxwell Shaw, who played Shroeder, having
had heart surgery which restricted his appearances), but the writers
seemed to have worked out the relationship of these three to the
other characters. I've noticed that Straker seems to prefer
Shroeder: Analytical, reliant on computer tests and logical like
Straker. General Henderson trusts Jackson more as Jackson
effectively doubles up as an IAC spy. Foster seems to trust Moss
more, no doubt because Moss was the doctor who attended to him
whilst recovering from injury in "Exposed" and has a more easy going
nature than the other two.
