SID model

dorzaks
I have posted a model of SID that I built a few years back in the
photo section. The model is scratch built using cardboard, ping pong
ball, clorox bottle cap, plastic easter eggs (antenna dishes) and scrap
parts from various model kits.

Re: SID model

Wow - I'm impressed that you were able to put so many other seemingly
useless bits into service for your SID model. I read some time ago that when
designers were trying to create the big ship model for a short term SF
series called the Starlost that they cannabalised many used model parts and
utilized other items to finally create their model. I think creativity in
what gets used is even more important than building something from the box
contents.
