It is definitely an advantage to constantly knock out SID. You`d have thought SHADO could have come up with something that was better defended/protected for something that is supposedly all important...! |
i dont know if they ever said exactly where SID was supposed to be. I always thought it was orbiting the moon to constantly scan for UFO's. Was there more than one SID and we only saw one or was there more than one SID but they called all of them SID?

Just about every time SID is shown (depending on camera angle), the Earth is seen rotating directly below it (Earth orbit). As far as I know, there was only 1 SID, unlike Skydiver. SID was in earth orbit; I believe there was only one SID. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The all-new My Yahoo! - What will yours do? http://my.yahoo.com |

I always thought it was orbiting the moon to constantly scan for UFO's. Was there more than one SID and we only saw one or was there more than one SID but they called all of them SID? SID had a little known brother called SAM (Space Alien Monitor)... Surely to have provided comprehensive coverage there would have to have been at least one more SID in complementary earth orbit?
