Season Gap & UFO-2 Series.

I looked through the URL's you gave me. I recently stumbled across both
Websites the week before anyway. It was one of those where I found this
group.

This is the Episode Guide that shows the 2 year broadcast gap between
Episode 24 and 25-26 (1971 skips to 1973):

This page from a URL you gave me also shows a 2 year broadcast gap
between Episode 24 and 25-26 (The Responsibility Seat and The Long
Sleep), although they are listed out of order:

Do I just write this off as "Stupid network Executives" screwing up
Science-Fiction again?

Other than those two Websites you gave me, can anybody also give me any
information on the proposed "UFO 2" second series that was never
produced, leading to the work they had created being used for
"Space:1999"?

Information on the second series of UFO is rather sketchy... the little you
see on the web is about all the information that anyone seems to know.
