Well, here I am, returning after about a year or so of 'hibernation'.
I hope to hang around here for the duration.
I read in Tim Heald's 'The Making of Space: 1999' that a second
season of UFO was being planned around the time that the Anderson's
were doing 'The Protectors' and that the Sylvia was due to produce
the new season of UFO. However, sometime shortly thereafter, Sir Lew
Grade -- the man behind the Anderson's money -- changed his mind and
didn't want another series of 'UFO' but rather a new series that was
set completely in outer space, having no references to Earth. And the
rest as they say is history...
It's good to be back here....awaiting input from my fellow Shado
Operatives. ;-D
