Skydiver Numbers.

Anthony Lazenby
The thought crossed my mind, that the number of Skydiver Submarines very
possibly is in double numbers.

What prompted me to say this, is the number of Fleet Ballistic Missile
Submarines that the USA has previously had at any 1 time; 31. [Based on
figures
provided by "Janes Submarine Development"]

That`s assuming SHADO used the American
Sub fleet as a role model, to run the Skydiver fleet.

I think it's an example of inconsistency between different
episodes. In most of the episodes it seems fairly clear that
there is only one SkyDiver. But once or twice as Dave has
pointed out, a 'fleet' is referred to, and we see SkyDiver
3 in Psychobombs.

Someone, a few years ago - not sure, but I think it was Rob -
suggested that it is best to view each UFO episode as occurring
in a Universe of its own, because of contradictions between
different scriptwriters. I think this is a case in point.

Why would they use the US (or any particular) conventional
military Sub fleet as a role model?
