Skydiver/Sky 1 launch

It`s a good point about pressure, shallow launch depth, etc., and also 1
that I like.

Only drawback is, on @ least 1 programme occassion, Skydiver is shown
fairly close to the sea bed, when Sky 1 is launched.

I think most shots of Skydiver underwater show rocks nearby. It just
makes for a more visually pleasing picture. I once made a 90 ft dive
requiring a 5 min. decompression stop at 15 ft depth at the end. It
was like floating in an endless blue void. Interesting but boring on a
TV screen. (Remember Stingray on its way to an emergency, ostensibly
in a hurry, but still zipping back and forth between the rocks on the
bottom?)

Again. I just convince myself that Skydiver is in shallow water.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It *is* TV after all.
