Skydiver.

I can`t imagine SHADO having just 3 Skydivers to protect the world from
aliens. That`s including 1 destroyed, & 1 out of action for an indefinite
period
of time. One Skydiver on patrol?......

The fleet is probably very big, which are on active service, plus several
'spare` Skydivers held in reserve to fill in for Skydivers in dock for
servicing, transit to/from base, or destroyed etc.

The SHADO budget would, I imagine, be in the hundreds of trillions,
considering all the bases, personnel, ships etc that it needs to run to be
of any efficiency.

I would think so - apart from the fact that there's a small
fleet of SkyDivers (we see SkyDiver 4 in PSYCHOBOMBS), in
'Ordeal' we see a reserve Sky 1 turning up after Foster takes
the 'original' Sky 1 to go on leave.
