The Gerry Anderson fan club (FANDERSON) is the only
group which has successfully gotten the original
UFO soundtrack released on CD. However, limitations
put upon them by the copyright holders restricted
them to only sell it to club members, and only
allowed them to sell a 1000 copies. The CD
sold out a few years ago, but can be found (used) on
places like eBay, although it typically sells
for hundreds of dollars (!)
Silva Screen has been releasing soundtracks
to Gerry Anderson series to the public, and
I do believe they have UFO on their "to-do"
list, although it's not clear if this will
ever actually get released or not.
Also on eBay, you may find various UFO soundtracks
which are fan-made (bootlegs) -- often these
do use Barry Gray's original recordings (based
on recordings the composer kept for himself),
but are lower quality than the Fanderson release,
and also have different music selections (as
the Fanderson release contains 2 CDs, and the
only way to release ALL of the music heard in
UFO would take more CDs than that!)
