Space Station

Hello,
Now that the International Space Station has been manned, the
first thing they did was name it Alpha. Do you suppose that there is
a 1999 fan up there? How reality follows fiction.

If they name the next one Beta (as they should, if they follow the Greek
Alphabet) I hope it won't give as many problems as Beta programmes :-)
I don't think Space 1999 had anything to do with the Alpha, it's merely the
first letter of the alphabet.
