Hi Claire,
I have looked at the V635 specification and it appears to be the same as my
V3 so it should work.
Provided you have loaded the software and have the phone to USB link cable
you should be able to transfer mp3 files from the PC.
When you find the track, sound effect you want on your favorite web site
right click on 'save target as' and save it to the PC - the connection and
transfer is made when you link the phone via the software. The V3 locates
the mp3 in the ringtone folder where you can then select it.
I hope this helps - let me know if you need any more information.
Regards
Keith
