You're absolutely right! I should have seen that, DOH! Looks like you'll
be the one getting patted on the back by Henderson. (Works for me... I'm
not goin' in there <shakes head> you go. Jackson might be in there too...
he gives me the willies. I'll wait in the car.)

The only snag is a very minor one and that is that SID cannot communicate
directly with Moonbase in this configuration; but the Earth can easily
relay. Henderson would probably whine about the cost of the bandwidth
anyway, even though you're saving him the cost of a SID. <giggle>

About the problem of seeing SID in a fairly low Earth orbit... um... that
must be just ahhhh... a... ...minor production inconsistency, yah,
that's it. That's all. :) A small misjudgement by the artistic director
who back in "1980" <wink-wink> wanted to see a more pretty picture for the
SID cutaway shot. There; easily explained. Henderson won't give us any
problem over it, that's for sure since it's a lot cheaper than one or more
SIDs in close Earth orbit in addition to one way out where it apparently
must be. However; he's not likely to spring for a re-shoot either after
almost 25 years. We'll just have to live with that less-than-accurate
representation.

(Yes L4=leading, L5=trailing)
