Hi all,
Had to break radio silence here as I think the aliens have been using their Timelash tactics again as time seems to have stopped here on Moonbase. Comms seems to be down for the last weeks or so. Got too engrossed in the 'new' Arpanet E-mail Comms system - Hey, just worked out we're #3 node after BBN and Stanford (sic). Anyway, Arpanet is a dumb name, they should call it the 'internet' or something. Sure wish there was a faster way to navigate around the screen though... all the cursor keys are getting worn out here... As Lt. Ellis is unable to complete her monthly requisition list, here goes. Official Moonbase Requision List: - We're gonna run out of coffee (Java and Kenyan) very soon. We're all pretty grumpy about it. Lt. Ellis' English Tea does doesn't work for most of us - Desperately need waste breakdown chemicals otherwise something really horrible is going to back-up soon. - Marmite (it's for the English operatives - love it or hate it, we really need it) - Someone lost a few pieces from the 3D chess game, and it's driving us all nuts having to use the girls used lipstick cases - There'a an occasional strange and nasty smell coming from number 3 airlock, no one's admitted anything so far. - We need new standard LES bulbs in Control, and a new panel assembly on the comms panel (it's never been the same since Commander Foster threw coffee over it - some of the button are still a bit sticky) - Please can we have the latest update in the music library. Commander Straker may love Wagner, but it's driving most of us nuts. He took our James Last Docket back with him - can we have it back? - Any news about the new Interceptor? We've got loads of missiles but we're gonna need it real soon. - A few cans of window cleaner would also be appreciated. Some wise-guy on the last inbound trip allowed his braking rockets to kick-up dist all over the Reception Sphere's observation window, and it really ticks us all off, as that window has some of the best views. Also, it's not good for the morale for visitors. - We need electrical solder, tape, and a complete new #2 emergency electrical toolkit. Last one got accidentally vaporised after botched repair to the electrical system on the Lunar Module platform. Well, that's all the really urgent stuff for now. Signing off, Griff PS. Whilst checking our security, I noticed this video frame referencing SHADO RESEARCH LABS has leaked out (TCWTL at 40' 55") http://www.griffwason.com/SHADO_ResearchLabs-ScreenGrab.jpg |

The toilet paper is on the way. Should be arriving with Ellis' ship of Tea from
her favorite tea maker Jackson's of Piccadilly(er no relation to the doctor of same name). However in case of emergency if you will read on the back of the toilet paper request forms you will see you can use them as a stand in. Well, no toilet paper or tea-bags on their way from us, but here is the latest issue of The Ed Straker Herald, newly published, with loads of new articles, pictures, and with further important updates to come throughout the coming weeks. Later this month there will be a very special announcement regarding Ed Bishop's birthday and The Herald will be giving his fans a unique opportunity and challenge. Enjoy! http://edstraker.net/ |
Whoo hoo! I love 'Ask Dr Jackson' and the horiscope, always gives me a giggle.

It has been very quiet here of late, so I just made a S.H.A.D.O. wallpaper
and placed it in a new wallpaper folder in the files section. Cheers, Dave B [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Hi,
albeit a bit late Mike Billington's biography is now published to the Ed Straker Herald as commemoration, thanks to the Mike Billington fanclub, along with a nice photo page. Stay tuned for more updates to the Herald! Greetings An http://edstraker.net [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

most of you have seen the ufo that some one made in the files section, and i am going to post a more accurate ufo paper model and how to press mold the shells out of a soda bottle's clear plastic as soon as things slow down for me here.
the ufo corvette stye model will be about 4 inches tall, and use mirrored chrome paper. you can also glue wrapping foil to paper for the chrome effect. after you print out the parts. and even groove them 3-d into the foil if you want to. thanks for the wall paper!!! jim --- On Sat, 6/4/11, Dai-Andrew: Buckley <[hidden email]> wrote: From: Dai-Andrew: Buckley <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [SHADO] Re: Sure is quiet here on Moonbase... Hi again,
and OOOPS! Major blooper here! As reader Regan just told us, the end of Dragon's phantastic story "Skulls of Xhia Kum" got inadvertantly truncated while saving to the June issue. The end (and it is such a nice end) had gone AWOL. So now, for all who have missed the end it so far, it has been corrected and that wonderful story that we are so happy to present is complete now. So sorry, :-) Cheers An [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
