Allo
Thanks to the tinheads running Yahoo, this marks my second attempt at
trying to get this through. Fortunately, it wasn't one of my big
rambling ones, so there's not as much karma to wade through here.
First off, Anthony Taylor extends a gracious invitation to visit and
make use of the Gerry Anderson message boards which have been set up
at
http://fabgearusa.com/message_board.htmlThere are no pop-ups, each show has it's own board (yes, even that
show. Yes, even *that* show) and Uncle Mikey says Check It Out.
Second is, of course, the latest information concerning The Comics.
Kez has already delivered some news, but I am also making this report
available to the friendly people at the XL5 and UFO groups and so it
bears repeating.
1. Misc!MAYHEM is still committed to producing the Supercar, Fireball
XL5 and UFO comics.
2. Both Fireball XL5 #0 and UFO #0 will be on press soon. At
that time they will be re-solicited through the comic shops, but will
be avaiable immediately on the Misc!MAYHEM web site.
3. The "Supermarionation Adventures" format mentioned earlier has,
for the time being, been shelved. For an idea as to how the Supercar
and Fireball XL5 comic mini-series *will* be released, I direct you
to the following site:
http://tinyurl.com/o4rq4. Discussion is currently underway as to the best way of presenting
Anthony Taylor's most excellent UFO mini-series "Cataclysm".
5. Everyone go to the board and write, 100 times, "Producing Comic
Books Is NOT Easy!"
And there we are.
