I watched this on PBS a couple of weeks ago. I don't even remember a
character that fits this description or anyone who looks like Ed Bishop - do
you think PBS cut some of it out? It ran in a 90 minute slot on WGBH.

funny you should say that about cutting. Eds scene i thought could have
easily ended up on the cutting room floor as it really had no bearing on
story development, but as a vignette it was rather amusing. Sorry you missed
it.
