Hello, everybody!
I've been lurking for so long that it feels rusty to actually SAY something. But I have good news for those of you who enjoyed the UFO saga I've been writing forever. I finished the 19th story finally and it's online at my website: www.geocities.com/neesierie You'll find it under the section labeled UFO. On that page, click Conover Saga. The story is called Under Siege. I'm really sorry it has taken three years to finish this story. I've done little writing in the last few years as life made its own demands. Please note that although this story deals with Straker's death (sorta), it was in no way influenced by Ed Bishop's death last year. The outline for this story was set up in 2003 and is a necessary part of the storyline. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped me with technical data for this story, especially David Levine and Robert Thomas. David, as a thank you for your wonderful statistics, I gave you a bit part as an interceptor pilot. You don't get to down any UFOs, but you do get to cuss at them a bit. Hope it makes you laugh! Now that I have this very emotional story finished, I hope to be able to round out the saga by writing up the final story, #20. Please stand by for future developments! Yours, Denise
Straker, somehow it's always about you.
