I have just invested in the box set digi-paks of the UFO TV series.
Both sets contain four discs and between them they comprise the
entire series. Apparently there are differences in the sets in
different countries, but I seem to recall reading a review of these
discs when they were released last year, and someone mentioned that a
small sequence of a UFO was included as an extra. This was, I
believe, called a "bumper", and when the adverts were to come on,
this UFO sequence would be used. When the ad break came on, the UFO
would zoom up to the screen, and when the ads were over, it would fly
in the opposite direction and the show would start up again. Much
better than a boring old still caption.
Anyway, I can't seem to find it on any of the discs, so I'm wondering
if it's there on one of the discs as an Easter Egg, and if so how to
find it? It occurs to me that it might be on another counrty's DVD
release, if not in the UK, in which case, from my point of view, it's
academic.
Does anybody out there have any ideas?
