The complete book of UFO

Mark Davies-3
Considering the success of the Complete Book of UFO
can I respectively request a suggestion to Chris Bentley: A
Second Complete Book of UFO.

Good as the current one is,there are so many aspects left
untouched. For instance the special effects carried out at Century 21 studios in Slough is virtually ignored. In fact this alone could fill an entire book. And by the way that book is not Derek Meddings book 20th Century Visions.
I,m surprised that many of the technical aspects of the production are not written about,as they add great depth to
our appreciation of the production. For instance the quality of the DVD's is first rate..does this have something to do with the original quality of the methods employed by the
production/technical personnel. How about an indepth interview with Mike Trim,Brian Smithies,Peter Wragg,Alan Berry,Ian Wingrove,Alan Perry (he not only directed UFO he also filmed special effects and life action sequences). What aboout tracking down extras, technicians, editors and asking for their memories and experiences in making the show.
Everything I,ve read about UFO unfortunately even Chris Bentley's gives the impression of a general overview, echoes of everything we,ve heard before. It always seems to leave the reader asking for more ;not more of the same, but more detail more background more information. For instance my own area of interest concerns lighting of miniatures. As this is entirely studio based, how about going into the difficulties of lighting for these subjects, what the problems were etc.I,ve heard it said that sometimes setups would take absolutely ages to complete. Why? tell us please I,m interested!
When do we see this sort of thing written about.
The best thing I,ve seen about the making of UFO is The UFO Documentary, but even that leaves you wanting more.
Alan Perry's description of how he directed Ed Bishop and Mike Billington is typical of what I mean. There is absolutely no reason why Fanderson should,nt produce at least another 10 documentaries on various subjects concerning each aspect of UFO.After all if anyone has the contacts in order to do this its them.
Am I just expecting to much?Is too much hard work?
Is there enough drive and imagination to address this issue?
What does eveyone else think?

So that would, in fact, make it "The INcomplete Book Of UFO" then.
