With the recent changes from Yahoo, I think YahooGroups has become more trouble than it's worth.  So I'm going to close down SHADO -- at least on YahooGroups.

The group is moving to:

  http://shado-forum.com

This is the Nabble.com archive that I set up 3 years ago.  So it already has all of the discussions for the past 13 years.

If you just want to lurk/browse messages, then all you need to do is visit shado-forum.com, as it is visible to the public.  If you want to post messages, you will need to "Register" with a name/username, email address, and password.  I've also chipped in some money to Nabble so that registered users don't have to see advertising mixed with the messages.

If you prefer to send/receive messages via email, there is an option for that: "Options -> Subscribe via email".  They offer individual emails and digests, and you can reply to messages via email.

As for files/photos, Nabble does support embedded images and file attachments.

Hello from another long-time member... though I don't even remember when I last posted anything. Yahoogroups wasn't the most user-friendly way of actively participating - for me, anyway - so this may be easier and more fun.

I'm also here now - can't do without my regular UFO emails after all of these years!

I had a bit of trouble posting back via email as I used the shortform of my email domain when I registered so had to unsub and remove my account, hence deleted message.
Will try and post via email next to configure my email filters.

when I saw "Washington Square" I remember what it meant and  came over  as advised and registered ! thank you for the invite I just don't know what yahoo was doing maybe it's an attempt to stop all of the "hijacking" of accounts??

Yes, that is the only good thing about having to move SHADO.. that I get
to announce "Washington Square"... :-)

It has been a VERY LONG time!!!!!  I've mostly lurked but I've kept up with what's going on.  Marc, you have done a super job all these years.
